Visiting and Attending
Visiting the Monastery
- Wat Suan Santidham is open to the public daily from 06:30–16:00. (If you arrive during these hours and find the gate closed, you may open it yourself.)
- If you wish to eat food from Food Pavilion 1 [open dining area], please bring your own food container and spoon. Keep distance while serving food, eat in separate areas, and after finishing, take your container and spoon home to wash.
- Please help limit waste in the monastery. If any waste results from your use or eating, kindly collect it and dispose of it at your home.
- Pets are not allowed anywhere within the monastery grounds.
Gate Opening and Closing Times
- On Dhamma talk days: 06:30–11:00.
- On non–Dhamma talk days: 06:30–08:00.
- If you arrive and find the gate closed on any day, you may open and close the sliding gate yourself between 06:30–16:00. As the monastery is in a forest area, the gate must be kept closed to prevent animals from entering the grounds.
Attending Dhamma Talks
- Luangpu Pramote Pamojjo gives Dhamma talks every Saturday and Sunday from 09:00–10:00. (If he has other duties, advance notice will be given.)
- Everyone may attend the talk in the Dhamma Hall by using the reservation system operated by the Luangpu Pramote Pamojjo Dhamma Media Foundation.
- The Foundation posts the sign-up link every 3rd or 4th Thursday of the month (10 days before the first Saturday of the next month) at 12:00. Please check the list of registrants on the Foundation Facebook page.
- Registration to attend in the Dhamma Hall is limited to once per month.
- A limited amount of unreserved (walk-in) seating is available inside the Dhamma Hall.
- If you wish to listen outside the hall, no registration is required.
- Those who have successfully registered for the Dhamma Hall should check in at the registration desk in front of the hall between 08:00–08:30 on the talk day.
- For Non-Thai Speakers: Translation headsets are available inside the Dhamma Hall. Please check the calendar at dhamma.com/calendar-en and contact the team in advance via the online contact form to reserve a translation receiver and a seat.
- Use one contact channel only. Do not send the same request by email, Messenger, and personal contacts. These reach different volunteers and cause delays.
- Dress modestly. White clothing is not required, but clothing must not be tight, revealing, or transparent. Tops should have sleeves and a neckline that is not too low or wide. Skirts or trousers must be longer than knee length.
- Do not bring small children or children who cannot remain still and quiet to the talks, either inside or outside the Dhamma Hall, as this disturbs others’ concentration.
- Pets are not allowed in the monastery.

- Please offer alms in the Khong Dara Village area. Monks from Wat Suan Santidham go on almsround at 06:00 daily.
Offering Meals
- Please deliver items to the staff at Food Pavilion 1 [open dining area] before 07:30. Staff will arrange and offer them to the community of monks (Saṅgha).
- Do not offer any food or beverages that contain cannabis, hemp, or kratom leaves.
Offering Saṅghadāna
- Please place the saṅghadāna [offering to the Saṅgha as a whole] on the designated table at Food Pavilion 1 between 06:30–16:00.

Temple Grounds and Conduct
Paying Respect in the Chapel
- The public may pay respect to the Buddha image in the Chapel only on days when Luangpu Pramote Pamojjo gives a Dhamma talk, between 07:20–11:30.
- The Chapel is small. After paying respect, please go outside to practice.
- Do not chant, sit in meditation, make vows, take long photo sessions, or do walking meditation inside the Chapel, so there is space for others to enter and pay respect.
- Do not touch the Buddha image or statues.
- Please refrain from applying gold leaf and from lighting incense or candles.
- Do not place flowers, incense, candles, or any offerings anywhere in the Chapel, including in front of the Buddha image and behind the hall.
- Do not place sacred objects for consecration or any ritual.
- Do not step onto the monks’ seats.
- Do not touch, lean on, or rest against Buddha images, bases, or any wall paintings.
Use of the Chapel Area and Surroundings
- The Chapel area and its surroundings may be used for meditation practice only. Walking meditation is allowed around the Chapel, and sitting meditation is allowed along the cloister [covered walkway] behind it.
- Refrain from talking, making loud noises, or using mobile phones, as these disturb others’ practice.
- Do not bring food or drinks into the area around the Chapel.
- Do not climb or sit on any wall edges.
- No footwear is allowed on the upper terrace of the Chapel, the cloister, or the side pavilions.
- Do not place folding chairs or any hard seating supports on the upper terrace of the Chapel, the cloister, or the side pavilions, as they may scratch the marble flooring.
